Privacy Policy

Effective November 5, 2026

This policy explains how Civic Financial Solutions, Inc. ("Civic," "we," "us") handles information collected through civicfinancialsolutions.com. It covers this website only.

Information we receive from government clients in order to service an account is handled under our contracts with those clients and the laws that apply to that account, not under this website policy.

Information you give us

We collect what you choose to send through the forms on this site:

  • Government contact form: your name, title, agency or office, email address and message.
  • Account question form: your name, the reference number from your notice, phone number, email address and question.

If you email, call or write to us, we also receive whatever you include in that communication.

Please do not send a full Social Security number, or any card or bank account number, through this website or by email.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, the server that hosts this site keeps standard logs of visits. These can include your IP address, browser type, the pages requested, and the date and time of each request.

This site does not use advertising or analytics trackers, and it does not set cookies to track you. The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google to retrieve them, and Google receives your IP address when it does.

How we use information

  • To respond to your request or question.
  • To identify the account you are asking about and to service that account.
  • To keep this website secure and working.
  • To meet our legal, regulatory and contractual obligations.

Because we are a debt collector, information you provide about an account may be used in connection with collecting that debt.

How we share information

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising. We share it only:

  • with the government client on whose behalf an account is serviced;
  • with service providers that host this website and our email, who handle the information on our behalf;
  • when the law, a court order or another legal process requires it; and
  • when needed to protect the rights, property or safety of Civic, our clients or others.

How long we keep it

We keep form submissions and correspondence for as long as needed to respond and to meet the record-keeping obligations that apply to us under law and under our client contracts.

Security

This site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and we limit access to the information we receive to people who need it for their work. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You may ask what information we received from you through this website, or ask us to correct or delete it, by contacting us using the details below. We will honor your request where the law and our record-keeping obligations allow.

Your rights concerning a debt itself, such as disputing it or asking for verification, are explained in the notice you received and are not limited by this policy.

Children

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them through it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the updated version on this page and change the effective date above.
